We would like to welcome you all to Kalugo Gifts the internet shop that offers a great choice of modern, unusual, stylish gifts at affordable prices.

Six years ago we opened “Kalugo – the Gift Gallery” a gift shop in Muswell Hill, North London . Our aim was to design a beautiful shop and sell a wide range of modern gifts to cover all occasions, ensuring great choice but also ensuring that the price points realistically reflected the amount customers wished to spend on their gifts. Our aim was to offer great choice and style but ensure the majority of gifts had a realistic price tag of between £5 and £20.

Our aim was realised and a successful business was established, however, being beholden to a landlord and the ongoing rent increases it became clear that it would be difficult to continue to maintain the growth of the business and it was with deep regret that we closed the shop in October 2007 when the lease ended.

We really enjoyed the gift business and so we have simply moved Kalugo from being a retail shop to now being an internet shop, same ethos and the same service – just a different location.

We have spent many days (& nights!) deciding which products to select to launch the site in order to ensure that in each category there is a good choice at varying price points. We have also endeavoured to select ranges of gifts in order that customers can buy a single item for a small gift or for that special occasion put together several matching items from a particular range.

 We also offer free gift wrapping for all purchases.

We have to confess that designing the web site and categorising the gifts has been challenging to say the least! We truly hope you enjoy using the site, find it easy to navigate and like the choice of gifts on offer.
